Armando Alvarez and Angela Esquivel, passionate about art and nature, have for decades supported art and culture in our city of Miami Florida, USA. A multicultural city full of color and life, which is why in 2015 they created the Paseo de las Artes, a successful theater and cultural events complex that operated for years. At that time, the Alliance for the Presentation of the Arts was born from the cultural hand, a 501 C3 foundation with which they began doing events dedicated to homeless animals, dogs and cats, being neighbors of Miami Dade Animal Services, seeing the problem in that area where these animals are often abandoned by their owners, leaving them on the streets, this is how this couple of philanthropists began to work with their own resources rescuing and feeding abandoned animals and in the same way they sought the veterinary support of Miami Dade County Animal Services to sterilize them, vaccinate them and give them the best possible quality of life, creating the “Angel Real Love” sanctuary where there are currently old, blind and sick animals that they both care for and other younger animals that they foster and currently work on events with artists and content creators to find permanent homes for said animals, with the idea of “responsible adoption” to give better living conditions to said animals and that they will become a member of the family. With the support of artists and creators “Art with Mission” being proactive, looking for a solution to this problem, which often becomes a health problem for our community, this is how they want to convey a message that educates, raises awareness and inspires, being part of the solution, inviting the community to “Adopt, don’t buy” at a time when our planet is going through difficult times. Esta pareja invita a las personas que quieran cambiar su relaci\u00f3n con la naturaleza partiendo que peque\u00f1os actos pueden generar grandes cambios, es as\u00ed como nace el movimiento de paseo por la vida, un movimiento “Second Chance” un movimiento que limpia pl\u00e1sticos  y desechos en nuestras playas y bah\u00edas de Miami, reciclando, rehusando, reutilizando, trabajando en la econom\u00eda y arte circular. En el camino han encontrado \u00e1ngeles que se unen a su misi\u00f3n y hoy son parte del  Board director. This couple invites people who want to change their relationship with nature, assuming that small actions can generate big changes. This is how the “Second Chance” movement was born, a movement that cleans up plastics and waste on our beaches and bays in Miami, recycling, reusing, reusing, working on the circular economy and art. Along the way, they have found angels who join their mission and today are part of the Board of Directors. Angela Esquivel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Angela Esquivel Colombo American, social communicator, model, representative of her country Colombia, in several beauty pageants, graduated in social communication and journalism. She is an activist who has worked all her life for those in need, businesswoman and founder of Solare Tropical Furniture where she worked as a designer of furniture and decorative accessories, later executive producer of events with national and international artists creating Solare Garden and thus founded the Paseo de las Artes. This led her to create the art foundation Cultural Alliance for the Presentation of the Arts where with a troop of artists and content creators she works to educate, raise awareness and inspire the community for respect for animals and our nature with art in a harmonious way “Art with a Mission” currently working on a line of sustainable jewelry and fashion to give a message.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Armando Alvarez, Cuban American, businessman and architect, creator of United Solare Garden, kick-starter and founder of the Paseo De las Artes theater, Philanthropist who since he was a child has worked for animals and the environment. Today his greatest passion is dedicated especially to unprotected cats and dogs. He is an optimistic man and a community leader. “LIFE SMILES AT US” and so every day he sets an example to the world that with work, dreams can be achieved.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Cubano Americana, segu\u00ed la profesi\u00f3n de mi padre como contador p\u00fablico. <\/span>Habiendo servido en el Cuerpo de Marines de los Estados Unidos, tengo una clara pasi\u00f3n por enfrentar incluso los escenarios m\u00e1s desafiantes relacionados con los impuestos con la m\u00e1s pura determinaci\u00f3n, el conocimiento para hacer lo que sea necesario y la resoluci\u00f3n para realizar la tarea.<\/span>Siempre he sido un amante de la naturaleza y de los animales, especialmente de aquellos que no tienen hogar.<\/span>Following a plan of action to find solutions that bring clarity for a better world.<\/span><\/p>

Yesenia Torres was born in New York to Colombian parents. When life seemed brighter for her, she was barely 21 years old when she had a car accident that left her permanently paralyzed from the chest down. This for her was the beginning of her Second Life, a Life of Light, Love and Service to those in need. Despite her disability, she has managed to carve out a promising path as a Speaker, Life Coach and activist for the community with reduced mobility. She loves animals, especially the unprotected. She adopted a Dachshund, her Luna, an inseparable companion for many years. Since her furry friend left, today she pays tribute to her by working for homeless dogs and cats. She has given us all a great lesson in courage, resilience, and a demonstration that a bright spirit can light the path for many, especially those in need.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Susana Taddei, Venezuelan American, is a Community Leader, with a degree in Economics and Marketing from Babson College in Boston, working in Government Finance Administration, Emergency Management and Risk Mitigation (FEMA).<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Sunflower Foundation and spokesperson for Equality Florida. She was previously a member of the Board of the South Florida Symphony Orchestra and Treasurer of 2B ART. Additionally, she served as the Miami-Dade Coordinator for The Pet Project and participated in the Buddy Program at GMHC, the oldest nonprofit organization fighting AIDS in New York City.<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With a career in banking at Banco Latino and the Royal Bank of Canada, she then became Operations Manager and Controller of the Ozalid Group. Later, she worked as General Director and Corporate Controller of Veneconom\u00eda, a leading economic and political news publication in Venezuela. After moving to New York in 1997, she served as Administrative Manager in the fashion industry with Designer \u00c1ngel S\u00e1nchez. Upon moving to Miami, she worked as Business Development Manager for American Coatings, General Director of Enterprises Trading, and TV Producer at AmericaTeve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Taddei joined the City of Miami\u2019s Emergency Management Division in June 2018 and currently serves as the Senior Budget and Finance Advisor for the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Program. Since April 2020, she has been instrumental in transforming the claims preparation and submission process to the FEMA Public Assistance Grant Program, leading to a successful 99.3% obligation of funds for critical departments, including FIRE, USAR, and POLICE, during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This achievement was recognized nationally by FEMA and earned her a Certificate of Merit from the Miami Mayor\u2019s Office. <\/p>

Ms. Taddei has been nominated for an Emmy and won a GLAAD Media Award for her work as producer of \u201cSobre Todos Los G\u00e9neros.\u201d She also co-produced the documentary \u201cRCTV: El Silencio de la Dignidad,\u201d which has won five awards for Best Documentary and was an official selection at 23 international festivals. A tireless worker for those in need.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
